Key Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current COTA licensure in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Dedication to supporting students’ individual needs and educational goals
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Implement occupational therapy plans designed by the Occupational Therapist in both group and one-on-one settings
- Assist in developing and adapting activities to enhance students’ participation and independence
- Track and document student progress, providing feedback to therapists and educational teams
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success
- Support the Occupational Therapist in assessments and evaluations as needed
