Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Current state licensure (or eligibility)
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to create a supportive and engaging environment for students
• Passion for helping children develop essential skills for success

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in delivering individualized and group therapy sessions
• Implement therapy plans designed to promote student independence and participation
• Document student progress and communicate updates with the broader educational team
• Support the development of adaptive strategies and modifications in classroom environments
• Engage with families and staff to reinforce therapy goals and strategies
• Contribute to IEP meetings and ongoing assessments as required
