Key Qualifications:

  • Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current COTA licensure in California (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Dedication to supporting students’ individual needs and educational goals

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Implement occupational therapy plans designed by the Occupational Therapist in both group and one-on-one settings
  • Assist in developing and adapting activities to enhance students’ participation and independence
  • Track and document student progress, providing feedback to therapists and educational teams
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success
  • Support the Occupational Therapist in assessments and evaluations as needed
