Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the full school year. Key Qualifications:

• Active COTA certification and California state licensure required
• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of school-based occupational therapy practices and techniques
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities
• Compassion, patience, and a student-focused mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as guided by individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Implement treatment activities that promote students’ independence, participation, and academic development
• Document progress and maintain accurate records per district and state requirements
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and families to support each student’s unique needs
• Contribute to IEP meetings, sharing observations and input for student growth and success
• Adapt and modify activities or classroom materials for accessibility and engagement
