Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Active COTA certification, and valid state licensure.
  • Previous experience in school settings is highly preferred.
  • Passion for pediatric care, especially with adolescents and teens.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and thrive in a diverse educational community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Support students’ independence and participation in school activities through creative, evidence-based strategies.
  • Document therapy sessions and student progress according to school protocols.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, helping to develop and modify plans to support individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and related service providers to ensure student success.
  • Maintain a professional, compassionate attitude at all times.
