Qualifications & Required Skills:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Active state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
  • Previous school-based experience or strong desire to work in a school setting
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services as outlined in student IEPs
  • Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, teachers, and related service professionals
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
