School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Goodyear, Arizona

Qualifications:

• Current, active Arizona COTA license required
• At least one year of pediatric experience (school-based experience highly valued)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams, yet also take initiative and work independently

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out occupational therapy programs as directed by a supervising Occupational Therapist
• Contribute to the development of students’ IEPs, including goal-setting and ongoing adjustments
• Work closely with students to improve fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional life skills
• Keep thorough and accurate documentation of student progress and services delivered
• Consult regularly with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ educational journeys
