School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Goshen, Indiana

Step into a dynamic role supporting students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the upcoming school years! This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with educators and therapists and truly make a difference in the lives of children and young adults. Starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 28, 2027, this full-time position provides a consistent schedule of 40 hours per week. Required Background & Experience:

• Active licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Indiana
• Previous school-based experience as a COTA is ideal, but applicants with strong pediatric or educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Ability to adapt therapeutic activities and communication style to various age groups from early childhood to adolescence
• Familiarity with IEPs, progress documentation, and collaboration with special education teams
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Willingness to be flexible and responsive to changing student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist
• Deliver services individually and in group settings to help students access the curriculum and develop meaningful life skills
• Assist in developing and implementing therapeutic activities and adapt instructional materials as needed
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and contribute to student evaluations as part of the IEP process
• Support a positive and inclusive educational environment
