School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Greenacres, Washington

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Washington
• Experience working with children or in educational settings is highly valued
• Ability to implement individualized therapy activities under the supervision of an OTR/L
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, teachers, and families
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist the occupational therapist in delivering therapy services to students with diverse needs
• Carry out targeted interventions and activities outlined in students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Monitor and document student progress, reporting observations to the supervising therapist
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support students’ learning and functional independence
• Contribute to adaptive equipment recommendations and modifications as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that supports each learner’s confidence and skills
