School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Greenville, South Carolina

This role is ideal for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who thrives in educational settings and enjoys collaborating with Occupational Therapists to positively impact student development. The assignment covers a maternity leave and runs approximately from February 16th, 2027, to May 14th, 2027, across several vibrant elementary campuses.

Key Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina COTA license required
• Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
• Ability to manage a dynamic caseload across multiple school locations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Demonstrated passion for pediatric therapy and supporting student success

Role Responsibilities:

• Partner daily with a supervising district Occupational Therapist to deliver direct therapy at multiple local elementary schools
• Provide dedicated treatments for 9-10 students per day in 30-minute session blocks, supporting a variety of therapy goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and district guidelines
• Adapt therapy interventions to meet individual student needs within each educational environment
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster inclusive participation and achievement
• Assist with assessments and contribute to student therapy plans as needed
