Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active COTA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to maintaining documentation accuracy and professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students according to the educational plan developed by an Occupational Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized strategies to support student participation and progress in classroom activities
- Adapt and modify activities or classroom environments to enhance student independence
- Maintain detailed and timely records of student sessions, progress reports, and communications
- Collaborate actively with teachers, school staff, families, and other professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and support the development of student-centered goals
