Apply NowMake a direct impact on students' growth as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) working with pre-K through 12th graders in a dynamic school setting. This contract opportunity runs from September 3, 2026, through June 24, 2027, with a schedule of approximately 29 hours per week (potentially up to 30 hours if preferred). You’ll serve as a floater, supporting various school sites and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active COTA license in Massachusetts required
- Previous experience in a K-12 or pediatric educational environment preferred
- Strong organizational abilities for managing a varied caseload
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and travel between multiple school sites
- Team-oriented approach with a focus on student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OTR/L
- Assist students in developing functional, academic, and social skills
- Implement treatment plans and individualized interventions as directed
- Track student progress and document sessions according to school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff for optimal student outcomes
- Provide support across three school locations, following school-specific schedules
