This contract role begins August 25th and continues through December 18th, with potential extension through the full academic year (ending May 28th) should your availability allow. Flexibility is built into this assignment, as you’ll have the opportunity to manage your own schedule within a supportive framework, ensuring consistent service to each student.

Key Qualifications:

  • Recent or active certification as a COTA in Missouri
  • Previous experience in pediatrics or educational settings preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to work with a diverse population across multiple school sites
  • Flexibility to adapt to caseload needs ranging across elementary and secondary levels

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 32 students, totaling around 800 minutes per week
  • Travel between assigned schools to deliver services, with scheduling autonomy and initial oversight to ensure smooth workflow
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and special education teams to support student goals
  • Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Actively communicate with supervisors regarding scheduling and caseload management
