Qualifications and Experience:

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active COTA certification
• Current licensure to practice as a COTA in Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working with children or in a school-based setting is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, families, and support staff
• Organizational skills and adaptability to diverse school environments

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Occupational Therapists in delivering therapy services to students
• Implement treatment plans and activities tailored to individual educational needs
• Record and document student progress in accordance with school and state requirements
• Support classroom staff with strategies and accommodations to enhance student independence
• Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and multidisciplinary discussions
• Contribute creative ideas to foster student growth and skill-building
