A contract opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support a school-based setting in Indianapolis, IN. This role is essential in helping students develop the skills they need to succeed academically and socially through tailored occupational therapy interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and families to implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Assist in evaluating students’ needs and documenting progress toward therapy goals.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and functional activities to enhance students’ daily living and participation in school activities.
  • Adapt interventions to accommodate various physical, cognitive, and developmental challenges.
  • Maintain compliance with school policies and relevant regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with educational teams to ensure continuity of care and support.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of school-based therapy regulations and best practices.
  • Valid state licensure appropriate for practice.
