Key Qualifications:

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
• Previous experience in a pediatric or school setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to support and implement therapy plans developed by licensed Occupational Therapists
• Adaptable and positive mindset to work with various age groups and abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Assist in executing individualized education program (IEP) goals for students in the school setting
• Track student progress and document outcomes clearly and accurately
• Communicate regularly with teachers, OTs, and parents regarding student needs and progress
• Maintain compliance with school policies and relevant regulations

Position Details:

• Full-time, 36 hours per week
• Follows a 10 ½ month school calendar
• Stability and routine with a set weekly schedule
• Focused COTA responsibilities with no current OT duties
