Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Full-Time

We're seeking dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to support students in an educational setting in Kingston, NY. The COTA will work alongside a collaborative therapy team to help students ages 3-12 develop functional, sensory, and motor skills that support academic and social success.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Full-time position
• 32.5 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-3:00 PM
• Students ages 3-12
• Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Typically complete 8-9 therapy sessions per day
• Students are generally seen 1-2 times per week based on service needs
• Individual therapy sessions with opportunities for classroom-based support
• Dedicated treatment space, therapy equipment, and laptop provided
• Collaborate with therapists, educators, and support staff in a team-focused environment

Qualifications

• Active New York COTA license
• Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
• Experience supporting students with autism is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to implement treatment plans effectively
• Passion for helping students reach their full potential
