  • Valid COTA certification and current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though not required

  • Compassionate, patient, and creative approach to working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Familiarity with IEPs and ability to follow therapy plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as directed by the supervising OT
  • Collaborate with educators and other school professionals to promote student achievement
  • Assist in documenting therapy sessions, progress, and attendance according to school and legal requirements
  • Support the development and execution of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Adapt therapeutic activities to meet each student’s unique needs and goals
  • Promote engagement, independence, and participation in the educational environment
