Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current certification as a COTA and eligibility for Maryland licensure
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong pediatric background, especially with high school age students
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Team-oriented approach and flexibility
- Creative problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Support the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and other professionals to address students’ needs
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
- Engage students in activities that foster independence and life skills
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
