With a manageable caseload of approximately 20, you’ll collaborate closely with educators and other professionals to help students access their education and achieve developmental goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification and licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy interventions for students
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Passion for supporting children’s growth in an educational environment

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of about 20 students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Work under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist to create and adjust therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, family members, and related service providers to ensure holistic support
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and report on their outcomes
  • Adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of students, promoting independence in classroom activities
