School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Liberty, Missouri

Step into an impactful contract opportunity providing occupational therapy support to students across several dynamic school sites. This position will have you covering multiple school locations, offering variety and the chance to collaborate with diverse teams. You’ll make your own schedule, with initial oversight to help you get started at the beginning of the school year. Your main objective: ensure all assigned students receive quality COTA services each week.

Key Dates:
This position is for FMLA leave coverage from August 24th to September 25th, with the possibility for extension.

What we’re seeking:

• Active licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Missouri
• School-based experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills to manage your weekly caseload efficiently
• Ability to adapt and work comfortably across different school environments
• Commitment to serving students with empathy and professionalism

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy support to approximately 32 students across assigned school sites
• Coordinate your own schedule to meet the required 800 minutes of student services each week
• Communicate clearly and professionally with educational staff, students, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
• Collaborate with supervising occupational therapists and school teams to support student success

This contract role allows you to make a difference while enjoying the flexibility of managing your own schedule, roughly 8:00–4:00, for full-time, school-based hours.
