As a vital member of the team, you will:
- Support occupational therapy services for K-12 students, focusing on both academic and functional skills.
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
- Help students develop, improve, and maintain skills needed for daily school participation.
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student progress and well-being.
- Document services, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the IEP process as needed.
- Adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of students in elementary, middle, and high school settings.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Active certification and licensure as a COTA in Michigan.
- Previous experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare settings (strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with K-12 caseloads and the ability to connect with students of varying ages and abilities.
