Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - Long Beach, CA

A part-time opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with experience in school settings to support an elementary caseload at a school located in Long Beach, CA. This contract position offers 20-25 hours per week, starting as soon as possible, and will continue through June 12, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to elementary school students in the school environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on student needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school protocols.
• Attend onsite sessions and participate in IEP meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• Active California COTA license.
• School-based occupational therapy experience is required.
• Ability to manage an elementary caseload effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability for onsite work at the school location.
• Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process.

This position is located in Long Beach, CA, with one opening available to start immediately. Candidates must have experience working in school settings, and be licensed in California.
