Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Current national certification as a COTA
- Valid state license (or eligibility to obtain) for practice in Arkansas
- Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare COTA roles is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment, meeting the diverse needs of students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, individualized occupational therapy services to students as directed by the supervising occupational therapist
- Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and adaptive functioning within the school environment
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support each child’s educational and therapeutic plan
- Assist in developing activities and modifications that promote student participation and success in daily classroom routines
