Key Qualifications:

  • Active COTA certification required and eligible to practice in a school or healthcare setting
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy is highly valued
  • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with teachers, therapists, and families
  • Adept at adapting activities and interventions for a range of student needs from PreK through high school
  • Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in PreK-6th and 10th-12th grades
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Collect data and maintain accurate records of student progress and daily activities
  • Support classroom staff by recommending modifications and strategies to enhance student participation in learning
  • Attend meetings and collaborate on individualized education program (IEP) teams as needed
  • Work in both high school and elementary environments, providing continuity of care across age groups

This contract role runs from August 3, 2026, to May 28, 2027, with a consistent weekday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, offering a balanced work-life routine.
