Schedule: 40 hours per week
Daily Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Work Setting: Two school sites (High School & Elementary)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide services across two school settings for the 2026–2027 academic year. This role offers a consistent full-time schedule working with a diverse student population ranging from early childhood through high school.
Student Population
- High School: 10th–12th grade students
- Elementary: Pre-K through 6th grade students
- Caseload details will be determined prior to assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing occupational therapy programs under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills to enhance academic performance
- Deliver therapy services in individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to meet student needs
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active state COTA license (or eligibility)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required
