Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must hold a current and valid COTA license

  • Dedication to fostering student growth, participation, and independence

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the occupational therapist in delivering therapy services tailored to students’ needs
  • Carry out interventions outlined in students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Document progress, adapt activities, and keep clear records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Support the development of fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills in the classroom setting
  • Participate in team meetings and provide input on students’ functional performance
  • Communicate effectively with school staff and families to maximize student success
