This contract opportunity runs from September 2nd through June 15th and offers the chance to work 4 days per week across multiple sites, serving students in grades K-12.
Bring your passion for empowering young learners to a collaborative educational environment. You'll partner closely with supervising Occupational Therapists and school professionals to deliver evidence‑based interventions that foster student independence in both classroom and daily life skills.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience supporting children or adolescents, ideally in educational settings
- Knowledge of best practices for pediatric occupational therapy
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Adaptable, positive approach to meeting the unique needs of diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing student‑specific intervention plans as developed by an Occupational Therapist
- Support students in reaching their academic and functional goals
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services in classroom and small group settings
- Document progress and collaborate on maintaining accurate student records
- Communicate regularly with supervising OTs, teachers, and school staff regarding student needs
