Qualifications and Experience:

• Active certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are also encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with students, staff, and families
• Familiarity with providing individualized and group occupational therapy interventions
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive educational atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OT in accordance with student IEPs
• Assist in screening and evaluating students for therapy needs and maintaining thorough documentation
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to adapt classroom activities and materials
• Guide students in developing fine and gross motor skills, self-care, and adaptive strategies
• Track student progress, contribute to team meetings, and maintain clear, organized records
