Ideal Qualifications:

• Active COTA certification in good standing
• Successful completion of an accredited OTA program
• Previous experience delivering occupational therapy services within a school or pediatric setting preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of IEP process and developmentally appropriate interventions for students
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, therapists, parents, and school staff
• Flexibility, organizational skills, and a compassionate, student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to IEP goals and school guidelines
• Assist licensed Occupational Therapists in administering assessments and developing treatment plans
• Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
• Support the integration of therapeutic activities into daily classroom routines
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
• Foster independence, participation, and positive outcomes for students in both academic and functional skill areas
