This full-time contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year, offering a chance to work collaboratively district-wide with a dedicated team and share a manageable caseload of approximately 65 students alongside an Occupational Therapist.
Key Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
- Required certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred, especially with pediatric or PreK–8th populations
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple sites and collaborate with professionals
- Commitment to fostering students’ independence and participation in the educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic interventions under the guidance of an OT to students with a range of needs
- Provide support in classrooms and other school settings to enhance students’ academic and daily functioning
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of individualized therapy plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress to educators, therapists, and families
- Travel between up to five district sites as part of the workweek, ensuring every student receives consistent, quality care
