Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing vital support to students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the remainder of the school year. This full-time position operates across three locations, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM. You’ll play an essential role in student development while collaborating closely with educators and other professionals.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric environment strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation practices
  • Ability to manage duties at multiple sites
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and established goals
  • Support lead Occupational Therapist by implementing customized treatment plans
  • Collect data and record student progress, maintaining accurate documentation
  • Work with teachers, staff, and families to create inclusive strategies that foster student success
  • Assist in developing classroom modifications and accommodations to facilitate learning
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development sessions as needed
