You’ll make a direct impact by supporting students’ growth and development in an educational setting. This full-time opportunity is perfect for a compassionate professional ready to bring their expertise to collaborative school environments.
Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm, you’ll work with students and staff to address learning challenges, ensuring each child receives the support they need to thrive.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid COTA certification and state licensure
- Relevant experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to working at multiple school locations
- Passion for fostering student independence and participation
- Organizational skills and flexibility to manage a varied caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing individualized education and therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy interventions to students in small groups or one-on-one sessions
- Support teachers and staff by recommending adaptive techniques and strategies
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records per school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans
- Travel between multiple school sites as scheduled
