You will collaborate closely with occupational therapists, educators, and families to support students' functional skills and maximize their success in the classroom environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active COTA license valid in the state of Tennessee
• Recent experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and goal-driven therapy
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Compassionate approach to serving children of diverse backgrounds and abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under OT supervision
• Assist in implementing educational and therapeutic strategies within individualized plans
• Collect data and maintain accurate documentation on student progress
• Support teachers with strategies and classroom adaptations to promote participation and success
• Engage with parents and staff to share progress and recommendations
• Adhere to school policies and uphold best practices in occupational therapy
