Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid certification and state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred

  • Commitment to collaborative, student-focused practice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Occupational Therapists in delivering therapy services and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Work one-on-one and in small groups with students to foster independence in life and academic skills
  • Document student progress following school and regulatory guidelines
  • Support classroom modifications to maximize student participation
  • Engage in team meetings and parent conferences as needed
