Step into a rewarding contract-to-hire opportunity where you'll make a lasting difference supporting students in a school-based environment. This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week, with assignments at school sites near Falcon, CO, running from April 8 to May 23. You’ll play a vital role as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) within a collaborative educational team, helping students develop the skills they need for academic and personal success. Compensation ranges from $35 to $40 per hour.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current COTA certification with active licensure in Colorado
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP-driven therapy planning and documentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with educational and therapeutic goals
  • Support and implement treatment plans developed by the supervising occupational therapist
  • Assist with the development of fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills for students
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
  • Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes for each student
  • Travel between school sites as assigned
