A short-term Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Morgan Hill, CA. This full-time contract role requires 7.7 hours of work daily, covering a 9-week maternity leave absence starting at the end of January or early February. The caseload includes 57 students across four sites—two primary schools and two middle schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed OT.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to support student progress.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Adapt and modify interventions to suit a diverse K-12 student population.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 educational environment.
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Flexibility in working across multiple school sites.
