This contract position supports students across a variety of ages and abilities, focusing solely on direct and indirect occupational therapy services without the expectation of participating in extra district duties outside your scheduled hours. This full-time assignment is set to start as soon as possible and runs through May 21, 2026, offering professionals stability, guaranteed hours, and the potential for travel stipends for those relocating.
Candidates will work collaboratively with educators and therapy teams to help students reach their academic and functional goals through individualized and group interventions.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Active certification and license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Previous school-based experience is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to support and modify student activities as prescribed by supervising Occupational Therapist
- Comfortable working with students across K-12 grade levels
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing both direct and indirect occupational therapy services based on IEP goals
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with families, staff, and other professionals to optimize student outcomes
- Participating in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team activities as needed
- Ensuring compliance with all district and state requirements related to therapy services
