Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid and current COTA licensure in Tennessee (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• School-based or pediatric experience is highly preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for fostering positive outcomes for students with diverse needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students per IEPs, under supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Assist in assessments and contribute to developing individualized treatment plans
• Track and document student progress and adapt interventions as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding student needs and progress
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students
