What We're Looking For:
- Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a COTA
- Current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Previous experience working with students, ideally in schools or special education
- Willingness to serve schools in Carbon and/or Lehigh County
- Commitment to a school-based schedule, up to 35 hours per week, for the duration of the academic year
- Strong comfort level collaborating with students who have varying abilities and needs
- Ability to attend an in-person interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services as directed in school settings, supporting students' academic and developmental goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to design and implement relevant interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Adapt quickly to school placements and student rosters as determined by the unit’s needs
- Maintain compliance with all school and state regulations for occupational therapy practice
