Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Experience working in schools or with pediatric clients is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs, goal setting, and documentation requirements in an academic context
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families
  • Ability to motivate and encourage students to participate in therapy activities

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students according to IEPs and under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Support and carry out therapeutic activities to improve students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
  • Accurately document progress, attendance, and outcomes for each student
  • Communicate with educators and family members about student goals and progress
  • Adapt and modify activities to facilitate students’ participation in classroom routines

This contract runs from November to March, offering a flexible schedule—work two days per week, with the option to select the days that fit your routine. This arrangement provides a balance between professional fulfillment and your personal commitments.
