Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Current COTA certification with valid state licensure
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations highly desirable
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Understanding of IEP process and experience with documentation in an educational environment
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills to meet unique student needs

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions as outlined in students’ IEPs under the supervision of an OTR
• Assist in the development and implementation of activities that support fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes aligned with district requirements
• Participate in team meetings, providing input on student progress and needs
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and family members to maximize student engagement and achievement
• Contribute to the development of classroom modifications and strategies to foster student independence
