This contract role is perfect for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) passionate about working in school settings and eager to be involved from the ground up. Start with a flexible, part-time schedule and transition to full-time hours as the caseload expands.

As part of a dedicated team, you'll support young children in a nurturing educational environment, providing both individual and group therapy sessions. The classrooms are thoughtfully staffed, featuring a special education teacher and a 1:1 teacher’s assistant for every child, ensuring collaborative support and optimal student growth.

Desired Qualifications:

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with current credentials
• Experience or strong interest in school-based therapy, especially Early Intervention
• Familiarity with both individual and group therapy models
• Ability to build rapport with young children, educators, and families
• Adaptability and eagerness to grow alongside the program
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions to Early Intervention caseloads
• Collaborate with special education teachers, assistants, and related service providers
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to team meetings as needed
• Gradually increase hours and responsibilities in alignment with caseload growth
