Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid COTA license in the state (or eligible for licensure)
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build professional rapport with students, staff, and parents
- Flexibility and adaptability in a school-based setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with licensed occupational therapists and school personnel to implement therapy plans
- Assist with student evaluations, data collection, and progress monitoring
- Support individualized interventions that promote participation, independence, and success in educational activities
- Document services and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
