Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid COTA license in the state (or eligible for licensure)
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to build professional rapport with students, staff, and parents
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a school-based setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with licensed occupational therapists and school personnel to implement therapy plans
  • Assist with student evaluations, data collection, and progress monitoring
  • Support individualized interventions that promote participation, independence, and success in educational activities
  • Document services and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
