  • Current COTA certification and eligibility for Virginia state licensure

  • Ability to adapt interventions and goals for a variety of student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Occupational Therapist with assessments, planning, and implementation of therapy for students with developmental, physical, or sensory challenges
  • Support individualized education plans (IEPs) through direct therapy and group interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to ensure coordinated care
  • Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to strategies as needed
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant ethical, legal, and documentation standards
