If you’re an Oklahoma Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA/L) enthusiastic about supporting K-12 students, consider this contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year. This position offers flexibility with both part-time and full-time hours available, beginning in August 2026. You will work onsite, utilizing your expertise to help students engage more confidently in their educational environment, and collaborate with educators and other health professionals.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Oklahoma licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA/L)
  • Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs and caseloads within the school setting
  • Professional commitment to delivering high-quality therapy services
  • Capacity to maintain accurate documentation and timely reports

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Occupational Therapists and special education teams to deliver quality services to students
  • Implement prescribed interventions and individualized education plans (IEPs) with creativity and care
  • Contribute to goal setting, progress monitoring, and active collaboration with families and staff
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive environment to help students achieve their fullest potential
  • Maintain documentation and adhere to Oklahoma state and district guidelines
