Your qualifications:

  • Active COTA certification and state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
  • Understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Strong communication skills with students, educators, and families
  • Collaborative approach and dedication to student-centered interventions
  • Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse learning and developmental needs

Your responsibilities:

  • Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the occupational therapist
  • Work 1:1 or in small groups, helping students achieve their IEP goals
  • Support students' participation in classroom, cafeteria, and playground environments
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Provide relevant input and feedback for IEP meetings and parent communications
  • Utilize creative strategies and adaptive equipment, as needed, to maximize student progress
