Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Valid COTA certification and state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and school staff
  • Adaptability, organizational skills, and a passion for student growth and development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students with diverse needs
  • Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
  • Track and document student progress, maintaining compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Empower students to develop or improve skills for daily participation and learning within the school context
