Key Qualifications:

  • Active COTA license in Florida and eligibility to work in a school setting
  • Experience supporting K-12 students preferred, especially within a school environment
  • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions to individual student needs and work collaboratively with teachers and families
  • Reliable, professional, and able to begin work ASAP onsite

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy support to K-12 students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Implement therapeutic activities and interventions onsite to foster students’ academic participation and functional independence
  • Track progress and maintain thorough, accurate records in compliance with school requirements
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and support staff to develop and adjust student goals
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute helpful input to improve student outcomes
  • Manage a consistent weekly schedule, working 35 hours onsite, assisting with occasional overtime (OT) as needed
