Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - Okeechobee, Florida

Location: Okeechobee, Florida

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 37.5 Hours Per Week

Pay: Hourly Pay Range From $28-$35 (Negotiable depending on years of experience)  

Caseload: K-12

Soliant Health is partnering with a school district in Okeechobee, Florida, to hire a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the upcoming school year. This full-time opportunity allows you to work with K–12 students, helping them develop the skills needed to succeed both academically and in their daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to K–12 students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

• Implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals.

• Assist students in developing fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills.

• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed.

• Monitor student progress and communicate updates with the therapy team.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

• Active or eligible Florida Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.

• School-based experience is preferred but not required.

• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
