This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to work across multiple schools within a district-wide K-12 caseload. You’ll engage with students, educators, and families to deliver essential therapy services tailored to each student’s unique needs.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Washington State COTA license, current and in good standing
- NBCOT certification required
- Previous experience in a school-based or special education setting preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel between multiple school buildings daily
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to supporting students’ occupational therapy goals
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and other team members to provide direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy interventions designed by the supervising OT
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills needed for success in the classroom
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and sessions
- Communicate regularly with staff and families regarding student development and strategies
- Attend team meetings and contribute insights to support a collaborative educational environment
