Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current COTA license/certification
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Familiarity with providing services to PreK through high school-aged students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and school staff
- Commitment to supporting student independence and participation
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services 1 day per week (7.5 hours) to a caseload of 13-14 students
- Support students in achieving IEP goals and improving their ability to participate in school activities
- Implement therapist-designed activities and collect data to monitor progress
- Communicate observations and collaborate with families and IEP teams
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
