Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active COTA certification and state licensure required
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Understanding of IEP processes and therapeutic documentation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable to changing needs

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Implement established therapy plans and help monitor student progress
  • Support students with fine motor, self-care, and sensory integration activities as outlined in IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reporting
  • Work three scheduled days per week, with flexibility as school needs dictate
