Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active COTA certification and state licensure required
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes and therapeutic documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable to changing needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement established therapy plans and help monitor student progress
- Support students with fine motor, self-care, and sensory integration activities as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reporting
- Work three scheduled days per week, with flexibility as school needs dictate
