A contracted Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available to provide specialized support within a school setting. This role is based in Oxnard, CA, serving an elementary school caseload and focusing on enhancing students' occupational skills to support academic success and daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students, addressing individual therapy goals.
  • Collaborate with school staff and therapists to develop and implement therapy plans.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
  • Assist in adapting classroom environments and activities to support student participation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Experience working with school-based or pediatric caseloads preferred.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: 2 days per week, 8 hours per day (total 16 hours weekly).
