Step into a meaningful role supporting students’ growth and development in both high school and elementary settings. We’re seeking an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work in a collaborative school environment. This contract position starts August 3, 2026, and concludes May 28, 2027, offering a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM across both high school and elementary buildings.

You’ll make a tangible difference with students in 10th–12th grade as well as PreK–6th grade, helping them achieve their educational and functional goals throughout the academic year.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active COTA license and certification
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings
  • Familiarity with IEP documentation and implementation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Team-focused mindset and a passion for student success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OTR/L
  • Support students with a range of needs, helping them engage successfully in classroom and school routines
  • Document progress and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
  • Assist in the development and execution of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide input for adaptive equipment and classroom modifications
